DONATE TO JOIN THE DANCE!
Thanks to people like you, many young dancers will have the opportunity to perform the beautiful Nutcracker ballet this holiday season. These dancers belong to the Randazzo Dance Company, a non-profit organization founded in 1969 that is largely supported through contributions from participating families and local businesses. We invite you to "Join the Dance" and invest in the lives of the young dancers involved in the program this year.

Your support makes a difference
We are launching our “Join the Dance” Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to raise $7,500 to support our youth. Proceeds from performances such as the Nutcracker, are returned to the community in the form of student dance scholarships and the development of dance in the Washtenaw County area. A special scholarship in Marjorie Randazzo's name will be given to a promising young student who attends the Cecchetti Council of America's International Summer School. Award. This award covers tuition, room and board to the CCA Summer School held at Hope College. This prestigious honor is awarded by recommendation of a Cecchetti Council of America teacher and choreographer.
more about the marjorie Randazzo Scholarship
At age 12 Marjorie Randazzo was sponsored by Ann Arbor dance teacher Sylvia Hamer to be the first American student examined by members of England's Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Marjorie's commitment to the art of classical ballet led to her many years of involvement with the Cecchetti Council of America and the training syllabus developed and promulgated by famed ltalian ballet master Enrico Cecchetti. She was a CCA Diploma Fellow, Examiner and served for many years as an Executive Board Member. Marjorie Randazzo's sense of humor, care and concern for legions of students, compassion, patience and decades of hard work on their behalf is the stuff of legend.
It is in her memory that this scholarship was offered to Ayla Bramblett of North Carolina in 2018. From Avla’s mother: “Receiving the scholarship meant so much to Ayla. She is often asked questions and stared at because she wears a prosthetic eye. Dance gives her freedoms away from the fact she is blind on her right side. The scholarship spoke volumes to her about her strengths, her dancing and her character. As her mother it gave me a sense of pride in knowing I could trust her to be exactly who she is anywhere. She is a remarkable daughter and I love knowing outside of being my daughter she is just a really great kid with a love of and a gift for dance. “
Since 1969, our efforts have been dedicated to providing young local dancers the opportunity to perform while encouraging appreciation for the fine arts and cultural pride in the community.
Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation of $10, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help us meet our goal?
We simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in these young lives. Randazzo Dance Company (RDC) is a 501(3)(c) non-profit and public charity under IRS code 509 (a)(2). All donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you for your continued support and friendship.
With gratitude,
